Ali M. Aksu is of Circassian descent. Ali moved to Los Angeles to attend UCLA where he studied Economics with a minor in Film & TV. Later he studied entrepreneurship at the Global Startup Program at Singularity University, a non-profit organization that incubates startups that solve global challenges. He finished executive programs at MIT Sloan and Wharton School of Business for Blockchain Solutions in Business and Data Analytics. Ali has 4 successful exits in the film industry.. Ali has been managing Aksu family venture portfolio focusing on early-stage tech investments. Ali founded Untold in 2020 under the name FilmCapital.io. The company operated in stealth mode for 2 years as a private investment platform and successfully funded an independent feature film as proof of concept. Today, Untold is the only FINRA licensed equity investment platform in the entertainment industry that allows anyone to invest in pre-vetted content (movies, tv shows, streaming)".
